Marvel is BACK...to Hall H! This year's panel was a bit different as there was not the typical 'phase' release schedule presented. As a Marvel fan, it was refreshing to just be able to focus on the upcoming film releases and not several projects over the next four to five years.
I was able to attend Motor City Comic Con in May where Giancarlo Esposito gave Mandalorian panel guests a sneak peak into his upcoming role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There have been many guesses with who exactly he is portraying but it was finally revealed that Giancarlo is Sidewinder, the "King of the Serpent Society".
It feels like it has been YEARS but Brave New World will finally address the Celestial that was remaining at the end of 'Eternals' which I am excited to see.
Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled to be released on February 14th, 2025.
Scheduled to hit theaters on May 2nd, 2025, Comic Con got the first look at the Thunderbolts* trailer. The only information available to the general public, besides its release date, is the fact that it is following a group of prior antagonists or antiheroes as they complete government missions.
Personally, I was already on board with supporting the film since it will include Bucky Barnes and Yelena Belova but I can understand how some viewers will want to see the trailer before they get excited for it.
Set in retro 60's future, we are getting another go with our super hero first family. The official title was revealed to be "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" and filming is slated to begin on Tuesday July 30th.
The cast includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Jospeh Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss - Bacharach as Ben Grimm.
In my opinion, I do agree that Pedro Pascal has the star power to have a universe built around him.
There was some test footage shown at the Panel but the footage did not show any of the cast with their superpowers on screen.
Keep in mind that the release date has not been officially released but we did get an early look at the iconic Fantastic Four car.
The next two Avenger films and don't you worry. With what was announced at Comic Con this year, this films need their own blog post.
